Profile: St. Paul Friends
St. Paul Friends is an informal group of folks who enjoy friendship, fellowship, and food. There are no church membership requirements, no officers, and no expectation of attendance at gatherings. Everyone is welcome to participate whenever it’s convenient for you.
The group meets 5-6 times per year for social gatherings, such as a planning meeting in January, a St. Patrick’s Day party, a Derby Day party, a summer picnic, and Halloween and Christmas parties. The format is that everyone donates $10 at each event they attend (Derby Day includes a choice of additional wagering as a fundraiser). Everyone brings a hors d'oeuvre or dessert to share, and attendees are invited to bring their beverage of choice. Gatherings are usually held in homes or Heritage Hall. The group periodically decides how and where to donate our funds to St. Paul.
If you’re interested in attending any of our events, please contact the church office to be included in our email list, and keep an eye out for information in the OSP or St. Paul E-News.
Give us a try - you’ll be glad you did!
