Seekers (Adult Bible Study)

The Seekers are a diverse group of people each on their own faith journey.  It is a consensus driven group that openly discusses and determines the study topics and direction.  No previous Biblical knowledge is necessary.  Pizza and salad are celebratory meals shared after reaching study milestones.

Who: Members and nonmembers; any person who is open to learning and new thinking
 

When: Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. -ish
              Beginning January 14, 2025 to ?

 

Where: Genesis Room (downstairs at Sanctuary entrance)

 

What: Pick a Psalm


Seekers are asked to pick a Psalm, except the 23rd. Bring your Bible. The Seeker can do any of the following:
 

a.  Read out loud and discuss what their psalm means to them or group discussion

c.  Be an active listener

 

We will continue each week until we have all 149 psalms covered or we have no more presentations. To aid in discussions, there are numerous sources online, in our church library, in your study Bible, and in your heart.
 

If we run out of time, we will move the scheduled psalm to the next week. It is important that we have the number of the psalm to be discussed ahead of time.
