Profile: Music Ministry

St. Paul has a vibrant Music Ministry dedicated to praising God and fellowshipping through music.

 

What: CHANCEL CHOIR

 

Who: Singers of various voice types and experience levels are welcome in the Chancel Choir. All parts are needed, and there are no auditions. Church membership is not required.

 

Where: Upstairs Choir room for Wednesday rehearsal and to robe before 9 AM service on Sunday morning. Some rehearsals are in the Chancel.

 

When: Choir practice is at 7:15 PM on Wednesdays. We meet before the 9 AM Sunday service as early as needed to go over the anthem for the day. We are on hiatus during the summer.

What: The GLORY RINGERS present ensemble handbell music to the congregation at various Sunday services throughout the year. We may also ring for Christmas Eve or participate in area handbell workshops.
 

Who: Handbell ringers of various experience levels (beginners welcome) seeking fun and challenging new music skills. There are no auditions, and church membership is not required.

 

Where: Upstairs Bell Room for Wednesday rehearsals. We set up the bell tables in the Chancel on the Wednesday before a scheduled Sunday performance.

 

When: Bell practice is from 6 -7:15 PM on Wednesdays. We meet as early as needed to practice before a 9 AM Sunday morning performance. Attendance is important as fill-ins are needed for any absences. We are on hiatus during the summer.

What: OTHER MUSIC OPPORTUNITIES

Instrumentalists, soloists, and small ensembles are always welcomed and encouraged throughout the year. Please see the Music Director, Tristan Frampton, to make arrangements.
