Welcome to the St. Paul Fine Arts Concert Series 2018-2019 season!  We hope that you will join us for all of these wonderful performances.  It is the mission of the series to provide quality music concerts to our community free of charge.  No tickets are required. 

A freewill offering will be received in order to help us continue this mission.

All concerts will take place in the sanctuary (unless otherwise noted) at

St. Paul United Church of Christ, located at 115 West B Street in Belleville IL.


2018-2019 Concert Season

Huntley Brown, pianist

September 23, 3:00 PM

Huntley Brown will perform on the church’s Steinway Model B grand piano for a concert of inspiring music you will love. An ordained minister, his music ministry has spanned the United States and abroad.



SWIC Choral Ensembles &

St. Paul Chancel Choir Concert

October 20, 7:00 PM


The talented singers of Southwest Illinois College will collaborate with the St. Paul Chancel Choir on Ola Gjielo’s Sunrise Mass, accompanied by strings, as well as feature the SWIC Chamber Singers, with additional combined repertoire by both ensembles.  You won’t want to miss this!



St. Paul Music Ministry Concert

December 15, 7:00 PM


St. Paul’s Christmas concert is becoming a well-anticipated event of the season, featuring the Chancel Choir, B Street Band, Men’s and Women’s Ensembles, Glory Ringers (handbells), congregational carols, and more. Enter into the season and wonder of Christmas at this classic concert.




Valentine’s Dinner Theater

February 9, 7:00 PM


Treat your Valentine to dinner theater for love’s holiday at St. Paul, with an intriguing “whodunit,” along with delicious food!  Tickets for the dinner are limited, so be sure to stop by the church office or call 618-233-3303.  This event will take place in the Activity Center.



February 17, 3:00 PM

We have an addition to our season! Dan Fry, Director of Music at St. Paul, along with two friends will be presenting a violin and trombone recital on Sunday, February 17 in the St. Paul UCC Sanctuary at 3:00 PM.


Arianna String Quartet

April 7, 3:00 PM


The Arianna String Quartet is the quartet-in-residence at the University of Missouri, St. Louis. They will be performing Haydn’s The Seven Last Words of Christ on the Cross.  Written for the Cathedral in Cadiz, Spain in 1784, this extended work portrays the suffering of Christ on the cross.


Red, White and Blue Revue

May 19, 3:00 PM

The Chancel Choir of St. Paul UCC, along with members of the choir from Union United Methodist Church of Belleville present a concert of Americana, patriotic songs, and audience favorites in honor of America, and those who have served. A picnic supper will be served following the concert, hosted by the St. Paul Mission Board. Tickets will be available at the door or on Sundays at church before the concert.​​​​​​​
